Director, Chemical and Process Engineering

Job Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related field; 5+ years post degree experience in fermentation and ethanol production, preferably targeted at bioenergy research and development or production.

Job Descriptions: Direct integration of biomass feedstock processing with existing corn grain ethanol production. Duties include working with Edenspace partners to integrate biomass processing with grain ethanol infrastructure, modify biomass pretreatment conditions for compatibility with selected enzymes, identify alternate processing pathways and utilization of residues and byproducts.

Research Associate - Molecular Biology

Job Qualifications: B.S. in Molecular Biology, Plant Biology or related field, experience using HPLC, gel electrophoresis, and PCR.

Job Description: Assist with conducting transformations, evaluating gene expression and performing assays.

Research Associate - Biomass Processing

Job Qualifications: B.S. in Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering or related fiend with laboratory experience.

Job Description: Assist with characterizing enzyme activity from transgenic biomass and developing pretreatment methods to process transgenic feedstocks for maximum sugar yield.

Research Assistant

Job Qualifications: B.S. in Biology or Chemistry with laboratory experience.

Job Description: Will assist in the day to day operation of the lab and support Edenspace's program to develop novel crops through molecular biology and methods to process the crop biomass.

Laboratory Technician

Job Qualifications: B.S. in Biology or Chemistry with laboratory experience using HPLC, PCR and other biotechnology equipment.

Job Description: Will assist in the day to day operation of the lab equipment and facilities and support Edenspace's program to develop novel crops through molecular biology and methods to process crop biomass.
