(Manhattan, Kansas, 10 June 2010)-Edenspace Systems Corporation today announced the election of Dr. W.David Witherspoon, Jr. to the company's Board of Directors. Dr. Witherspoon is the Head of the North American Renewable Fuels business for Syngenta Seeds and is a member of Syngenta's Corn and Soybean Leadership Team for the United States. Dr. Witherspoon joined Syngenta in 2004 through the acquisition of Garst Seed Company where he served as President. He received his B.S. degree in Biology from the Citadel, M.S. in Agronomy from Clemson University and, in 1987, his Ph.D. in Crop Science, Breeding & Genetics from North Carolina State University.
